We finally got out for a run on our bikes today, thanks to a window of nice weather. We were lucky enough to run into our buddy Jamie on our travels too, and get invited to his place for strong coffee and Oreo cookies.
We stuck around the Northeast Avalon Peninsula, riding to Cape Spear, St. John's Harbour, Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi Lake, Marine Drive, Flatrock, etc. Then we took a little blast up on the highway to test the bikes, after refueling on coffee and cookies at Jamie's place. After that Lorenzo headed home, and I went for a solo run through St. Phillips and Portugal Cove.
The temperature was hovering around the 5 to 8 degree Celsius mark, for most of the afternoon. I ended up with 140 kms on the odo, once I arrived back home.
