Paid for it (credit card for an hour's shop rate) but if there was something mechanically wrong when I got there, after the shop guy checked it out, at least I had someone to talk to about it. I justified the expense as a little insurance policy against getting ripped off completely. I did a ride (the train) and ride and loved it. It was quite an adventure.
Thanks! I haven't thought of that...good idea. I am secretly wishing that I will have to get out of the the State to buy a GC so I can justify a mini adventure.
