Who needs a 500 mile range?

But you should be able to get at least 450 miles of range with them. That's some serious travelling distance!

The price is high in Euros, pounds or Dollars - and who needs or wants to carry an additional 17L +/-, that is double the stock tank. I get 200+ miles ridding into a strong head wind and 235 -250 miles under normal conditions.

The IBA requires everyone to stop every 350 miles and I can't think of anywhere that requires a 450+ mile range, PLUS the 25 additional pounds weight which will be much higher than the stock tank, thus probably adversely effecting handling.

Yea, you can be the only one on your block foolish enough to buy one, but it isn't cool IMHO
