That Seventies Show

Mossy and I had planned to take the pair of '78 CB750s, that he restored (mine & his), for a run today, to get some shots of them together. To make it more interesting wie both called up some buddies who also have old school rides, and we ended up with five bikes on the run.

One of the funniest moments of the ride for me, was when Mossy pulls up next to me in tandem, as we're riding down Tucker's Hill, and he yells out over the sound of the two CB750 engines..."Who do you wanna be, Ponch or John'?".

The rushiest moment of the day was when I found the limits of the old school handling of my 750, while Barry was chasing me through the twisties on his MUCH better handling Yamaha RD350LC. See scraped footpeg photo, below.

Here's a bunch of shots, both in colour and in black and white, from today's group ride around the Northeast Avalon Peninsula.

Thanks for a great run and a fun trip down memory lane, lads.

And some black and whites, since these old bikes seem to lend themselves nicely to monochrome photos...
