If you want to meet up , let me know. We have no set route. We will probably take 21 to DeSoto and then pick up the bridges route to Bixby for lunch. -Kevin Cell 618-444-8616

Loggers lake is closed to motor vehical traffic (By MANY trees and boulders) until April 1st.
This due to repeated vandalizing and 4 wheelers tearing up the place! You are allowed to walk in to camp if you dare leave your bike up the hill....:eek1

    Ride report is here...

It was good ridding with you. It would have been nice to seat around a fire and tell lies.

Have any of you fellow Missourians plated a dirt bike very recently...say in the last 6 months? I'm receiving conflicting information from from Jeff City. So far, no one can point to a statute that forbids it.

I don't know if I'm late for the last meetup or early for the next one, but I'm enjoying a sandwich at Bixby!

It would be a lot easier if it had a sign! I'll have to touch base with High5 and see if he's got any ideas...

Hey, I picked up that key today. If you ever come back to the Ozarks, there is another (seepy) spring across the river from that spring. This one leads over a waterfall maybe 1/8th a mile from the river. Then there's this other spring... and this other one...

Hell, I'll just have to make you a key and print some maps! put you on the payroll. BigDog's Spring Photography Service.:rofl

Over a couple of beers last night the question came up. Is there a Trans Illinois Trail yet, north/south?

I was helping out with that some time ago---------I plotted from Moonshine Illinois South---then West to the Mississippi but nobody ever filled in the blank going North. I forget now where that thread was or who was organizing it. It just never came together.
