well,,, the goodyear airport (litchfield naval air facility) is in the same place today as it was when it took the place of luke aux field #6 in the early 50's. i dont know if the other place in question was called the goodyear airport before that,,,,

Finally! FYI the old location was actually known as the Goodyear Auxiliary Airfield before becoming Gila River Memorial. A nod to my west side riders as I moved the tag further east :)
