Will Buxton says that there will be 4 in-season tests next season, each after a Grand Prix in Europe.

I have a feeling some folks in the United States are going to miss Sunday's Grand Prix because NBC is fucking around.

The race will be on CNBC at 7:30am ET. Not the NBC Sports Network. The move is to make room for the Tour de France.

NBC have been so poor at getting the word out that my Comcast program guide is wrong. It shows an athletics event on CNBC at 7:40am. I guess the Tour de France caught them by surprise.

Also, qualifying is tape delayed. Doesn't feel like F1 has their full attention over there in Fort Lee.

Have to say watching live streaming is a thousand times Bette than live broadcast. Pure engine and no commentator bullshit. And the quality from CBS stream is perfect. HD cabled to TV

And to think that Mercedes are shoving Ross Brawn out the door. Idiots. That's what happens to teams owned by large manufacturers. They're out of touch and appoint snakes like Lauda to be a conduit

di Resta tossed from qualifying for being underweight. di Resta, not the car. Apparently the driver-car combo was 3.3lbs underweight after qualifying. And they're saying that the car was fine. It was di Resta who weighed less than he did after practice.

I guess the team can bitch about their driver now.... Turnaround is fair play. Alonso starting on hard tires. Could work. Webber with nothing to lose, can he get a start?

No idea how your DVR works, but I can set mine to record any program listed as "Formula 1" no matter what channel it's on. The option is several menus deep, and it took me a while to find it. I started using it last year when Fox showed four races mid-season instead of Speed. I recorded the live race on Fox and got the replays on Speed.
