i know some car race tires shatter like that when stored in cold climates, so it is a definate possibility.

They're DOT rated, I'm sure the DOT would like to know tires they rate for street use can never be used in cold weather. I ride all year on street and dual sport tires and have never had anything like that happen.

So if you store your bike in an unheated garage you void your tire warranty?

That's the lamest thing I've ever heard. The guys in the warranty dept. at Bridgestone are probably high fiving the guy who came up with that as "most ridiculous excuse of the day".

Is that a knife or a cleaver, the blade looks like it's 1/4" or more? Comes pre-rusted, nice feature. I have a scandi knife where they didn't polish the upper part of the blade, left it forge black.
