Bought myself a 2010 SE in Santiago today. Nicely farkled, just needing some TLC I hope.

Looks good enough shape to get the thumbs up from Carlo de'Gavardo so it's time to join the club. Only 6 units in Chile.

Joker~ Nice pics very envious of that ride :clap

Have you had any issues with the subframe with the weight of 2 full rotopax? looking to do the same with wolfman luggage but concerned of the weight on an alloy frame.

    Cheers Wilso

Will do. Just got into UK today though so I hope to get back in a few weeks to collect and take some pics for you then. Aren't these KTM hard parts though?

When I bought the bike I put on these KTM bag racks but they were kinda wobbily but I only used them for the bags.

I mounted a rotopax on a tail rack up top and did some pretty narley off road.

    Which lead to this.
The rear subframe cracking where the grab rails are mounted.

I got the crack/BROKEN piece welded back on and beefed up a little.
Sorry no pic of the "BEEF"
Basically a wedge gusset added in on the side where the plastic is.

I then welded a stiffener/ 3rd mount to each side of the KTM bag racks.
You can just see it going up under the "9" and it mounts to the muffler mount bolt under the side pannel.

Then I rode it many many times like this....with just 1 rotopak mounted on the rh side. The only problem was the unbalance to the bike....but the sub frame was A-OK
    [IMG]

SO I recently bought the 2nd fuel tank and mounted to the left side. Balance was great and didn't even notice the extra fuel was there on the 1300k ride we did.
The sub frame is still good and I gave no worries of it cracking again.

And I posted this pic just because....because I really like posting this one!!

Wow great reply thanks joker, would you reccomend beefing up the frame? I'm only going one side as have the adv tank on tother side, will probably carry water in it. Off to morroco in November so need extra fuel and water....

And there ain't nothing wrong with this picky :evil

Don't tell the guys at Starbucks, but I'm falling in love with the 950 Super Enduro!

I've been searching for the right off road hooligan bike that can also roll to Alaska and back. After testing numerous (non orange) machines, I've come to the dark (orange) side. This will be my next bike. Just gotta sell my 4 wheeled hooligan machine first....

Too funny!! He was on a KLR, I think. I was taking a ....lets just skip that. Anyways, I was about 50 yards away in the trees when he stopped and pulled out the camara. In my rush to see the "views", I had left the keys in the bike. Actually got a bit antsy to get back. The guy didnt linger though, snap snap snap, and away he went.
