My biggest frustration is finding tires that will last longer than 2-3000 klm with some decent off road capability....arhhhh theres always something to whine about hehehe!
Michelin Desert front and rear. Say no more.
how may k's you get out of a set?
Last trip on my 950A ran the front for all of the 7000 km which combined with a 908 rear meant I didnt have to change them at all, but they were toast afterwards. Can expect 4000km from the rear desert as well but it all depends on the right hand.....
Sadly I see you still don't have a glove box...I was really hoping you would do all the work for me to copy!
Been hunting for a plastic box to fit nicely behind the front screen in the space vacated by my GPS (now on the bars). Havn't found anything yet, but the pelican case on the rear is handy for bits and pieces .
Your use of the B word made me think of this Fast Show sketch. Apologies for the hijack and enforced "commercial break" from your good thread and if some of you don't appreciate this type of humour - normal viewing will be resumed asap!
Even with the E's shorther setup mine still feels quite tall especially when you're negotiating steep single track. Momentum, a good line and bit of dutch courage will get ya through most situations.....most of the time decent tires are also a big help!
Nope, mines smoother than Englebert Humperdink ? They are geared for higher speed hooning so if ya wanna ride trials style you have to use some skilled throttle control and a bit of clutch....or just give it the berries
