It is that time of year again. The Townsville MRA Toy Run is on next Saturday. Meeting place is Dean Street Car Park at 2.30 however the run does not start until 4.00pm, will be a bit cooler. I have to pick my daughter up from Schoolies at Airlie Beach in the morning however plan to be back in time and on my bike with presents for the kids! Been a while since we have been out so hope to see a few there. Need to plan a Christmas ride, Bowen River Hotel sleep over via the dam? gk

All Townsville advriders to the phone!!! Thinking of a Christmas ride and catch up before the rains come. Saturday/Sunday 8th/9th December. Leave from Townsville Saturday morning and go to the Bowen River Hotel via the Burdekin Dam road (and a counter lunch at Ravenswood?). Camp at Bowen River and have a steak and a few Christmas beers and rums. Back to Townsville via Collinsville and the dirt to Gumlu/Ayr on Sunday morning. Have not looked at the map too hard as yet however we might be able to find a bit more dirt on the way Saturday. Hopefully a few from CQ can meet us there. gk
