Actually, Dallara is not SUPPOSED to be posting right now.
He is SUPPOSED to be spending time with his loved ones.

Turn the Mac off Dallara. Grab a bottle and cigar and go sit on the back porch and CHILL.

Spent all day yesterday and last evening with my son, DIL, and grandkids... And had a *GREAT* time. Out at the beach over in Port A, then time with the grandbabies at the pool, wonderful dinner at "La Playa" over there, etc., etc. Couldn't have been better. :clap

Unfortunately today my ex-wife has swooped down from her skulking perch and decided to take up most of their day... Since any time she and I occupy the same square kilometer results in sort of a matter/anti-matter collision I decided I'd spare the kids & grandkids the stray high-energy gamma rays rays from that conflagration... :rofl

But I'll see 'em tonight and tomorrow!!! :D

No booze today, as I still have to drive over to Port A and back tonight. Only wish I could ride the S-10, but I've got to haul over all the cameras, a bunch of goodies for them, and my DIL's little brother, too! :lol3

Hence, the Suburban gets the nod. :muutt

I heard from the nice folks at Seat Concepts tonight, they just finished my seat and it is ready to ship. I spoke with one of the owners and she said we are getting the first rear seat for the Tenere, she helped design it after a short ride on a stocker. WE should have the new seats in time for the first of our two trips in December. I will report in when they arrive, if they pass the ride test I will have a saddlemen adventure Tour to sell:deal

So the Adv Tour never improved? Looking forward to your impression of the SC rider seat.

There ya go. My wife hates the stock passenger seat as much as I hate the rider seat. Sore butts after just an hour or so in the saddle the other day... I'm planning on getting both my seats done by Seth Laam.

Some of you may remember I had a pheasant fly through my screen a couple of months ago. Following this my screen was less stable and wobbly on one side. Pluric fixed if for me with a couple of screws but it later became loose again.

On closer inspection today I see that the plastic frame that holds the headlight and screen in place is actually fractured.

This pic shows the area and the screws Pluric put in for me. Thanks BTW Rick. :thumb It also shows the headlight fixing loop broken too - not a problem provided the rest is intact - which it isn't.

Normally none of this would not be a problem. Just order a new frame and wait for Japan to send it on.

However: Yamaha Japan do not have any :dunno. Glue, brackets and bolts are looking like the way to go. Doh !

EDIT: BTW Rick (Pluric), the wet jacket things work great. We keep them wet in a plastic bag till the afternoon and put them on when it gets very hot. Thanks a bunch to a great bloke.
