I want to do a casual and non-detructive project on my 1973 LWB R75/5. Looking for a donor subframe to get chopped. I have a NY state address for shipping if that makes you feel any better about selling to a dirty canuck. Sell me yours please.

WTB a set of rear shocks. Please let me know what you have. I am looking for something a bit stiffer than stock. It is the last part for my cafe build and looking to save some money.
    Thanks,
    Tom

There are several players on the panniers and/or the complete system, yet it is all still available. I've had some some parts offers in trade. The only parts I'm interested in taking in trade are G/S-ST for post-70 and 55-69 Twins. I'm definitely not interested in trading for any post-70 stuff like Krauser, BMW, Wixom, etc.

    Thanks,
    Carl

Set of Krauser hard cases that came off of a 1977 BMW R100/7. Cases are in good shape, 6-7 out of 10. No cracks that I can see, but surface rust on the metal parts. Keys are NOT included, but top latches work. One of the inside straps has a substantial tear (shown in pic, right most top strap), and there is also some rust on the straps' metal parts.

Mounting hardware is included but is in very rough shape due to surface rust. Mechanically sound, but needs to be completely refinished.

$250 for local pickup in Alexandria, VA. I will ship for additional actual ship cost, which I'm guessing would be $25-$30 if the size will qualify for parcel post.

Fair warning, anyone looking may want to avoid this seller. We had an agreement and he backed out of the deal:deal

That's too bad! I've had lots of good transactions over the years on that site. Thanks for the heads up.

As the subject says, looking for a gently-used tool like the one Hucky's sells new for $21 (#71111237858 or 71119090139) and found in some (but not my) toolkits. It's not too expensive new, but I thought I'd check here first. I am aware of the Park pin spanner, but would like something more substantial.

    Thanks -

I was never thrilled with my stock BMW toolkit one. Pins got wobbly over time. I use a lot of Park stuff for bicycles and it holds up OK for home use. You can also look around Mcmaster Carr and the like for a pin spanner.

I need one now as well as I've fitted /5 fork caps to my /7. The caps have been chromed so I need a really solid wrench. I'll probably just make one using one of my existing hook wrenhes. Costs all of a pair of grade 10 bolts, some jamb nuts and some quality grinder time.

I made a special wrench for the /6 era chrome wheel bearing caps. Completely superior to the toolkit thing but a shop only tool.

you can make one really easy, get some flat stock drill two holes in the appropriate location and press in a drill bit of the next size up cut off to desired length. That's what I did.

Looking to do the brembo dual disc fork swap onto my 78 R100 but need a slimmer hub for the spoked wheel.
Anyone have a "two ribbed" hub?
