Got to work this morning, and within 20 minutes, the bike was running, :clap no gas leaks and the engine sounds perfect. A clutch cable and throttle assy, and this bike is road ready. The only bad thing is I am not getting anything done at work.
I now need to buy a half helmet and some assless chaps :lol3

Before you go looking for parts wait until I get the rest of the stuff to you. I'm not sure what all I have shoved in a box that goes with that bike. :freaky

Live2Ride is only a little excited about his new bike,:lol3 he even called me this morning and let me hear it running over the phone. Ahhhhh the sweet rumble of a motorcycle engine. It sounds pretty good for a bike that's been sitting over 10 years. :thumbup

Oh yeah, fringe and tassles. Hmmmmm I might have some tassled grips stuffed away some where left over from my Harley days. Some one made me some and I never put them on my bike. I wonder if they are still kicking around. :lol3

Ah gee, I'd have to look in more boxes for that :lol3 It's about time you crawled out of the ocean and returned to the dry side where you belong. :1drink

You really need to get to my house. If you could get that thing running that quick, you need to do your magic on my CB350 and CB400A!! :eek1
If you need parts, I'm debating parting out the 1973 CB350. I ended up getting another 1978 CB400 so the 350 will be sitting quite a while since it is FAAAAR from running.
Anyways, let me know if you need anything from the 350. :D

I found the side panels but I'm holding them hostage, you don't get them until the next time you and Dirty Girl go riding with me. :lol3 There's a bar to bar ride up the CdA river that needs to be done in Oct. :ricky

I know... I'm gonna ride a little more over here. Maybe hit some spots I haven't been to for awhile since it's not raining (yet).

Ok, we'll go. Can I have the side panels now? :lol3
Today, the sissybar goes on. Once I get the bike completed, I will take the tank and side covers into town and have them painted and the front fender chromed.

Too much chrome. PAINT. Let the pipes be the chrome focus. Loose the front signals and the ugly stock tail light. Maybe even paint the lower engine cases. The tank isn't too bad. Dechrome and paint. Put on a solo bicycle type seat. The guages are ugly. Use just the speedo. Less is more. :D

Next time you go to Mexico get some small leather saddle bags. With conchos...o-o-oooo.

I just had a brain storm. I think I have a metal tractor seat......

Tim, I want some custom leather. Do you, or your dad know a good place for leather goods?
