Lost for a Reason is a non profit group that was begun by adventure motorcyclists around the world in an effort to support children and families on the Navajo Reservation. Currently Lost for a Reason supports one of the only domestic violence shelters on the reservation, Tohdenasshai Shelter Home. It also supports the local Youth Adventure Club, a soccer and sports program in the community. Other agencies that we support are sustainable, long term community resources such as Kayenta Baptist Church, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (runs the only soup kitchen in town),and family programs at other local churches. In addition, we also support children at Shonto School with an ongoing clothing fund for needy kids and ongoing financial support for the children at Manuelito Childrens Home in Gallup,NM. We have many generous sponsors from the ADV community and have been overwhelmed with positive messages from ADV riders and motorcycle companies. All profits/proceeds go directly to children and families on the Rez. One of our large projects is rebuilding a home for a family this summer.
