Anyone know where I can find a moderately priced seat of the KLR? I reeeeeally don't want to have to spend 300-400$ on a seat.

Seat Concepts does a kit where you replace just the foam and cover yourself. They have a low seat option too. Highly regarded. They will ship to Canada too,

Seat concepts = remarkably comfortable seat for little $

Tell em Brokentooth sent you and they might throw in some free baubles.

    Cheers

Planing a weekend getaway, to watch some movies and kick back sometime in the future, so that may just be the weekend.

Flight booked, Harley reserved. Scottsdale Feb 9th-14th. Going to be a tourist! Prescott, Sedona and Bisbee. Booked through H-D of Scottsdale. Never ridden a Street Glide. Should be a hoot.

I will be a no show due to flu. Enjoy the grub and tall tails of riding finesse. Would love to join you but would not wish this flu on my worst enemy.

I would think the ice would be OK. I was up to Riverton first week of Jan. on my sled. 2' of ice already at that time.
Just stay south of Black Island as the currant is pretty strong between it and Hecla.
When we cross to the east side we leave from Hecla village and stay south of B.I. till we get to it.
Should be good snow up there by now but lots of wind so could be rough.

By the way, I haven't had internet for 2 weeks so I'm way out of touch with everyone. Good to be back!

Jerome is a neat old hippy town. Some very nice scenery and great roads around Jerome.
Also if you get down to Tucson area the palms to pines highway is memorable.
