Sorry for the emotional rant. Heal well & take it slow.

So, what's the gist of what happened?

She attempted a left turn from a side street.

I was in left lane a little behind a car in right lane making a right turn.

She went before car cleared intersection.

I thought it would piss me off also. As many of these incidents I've had that were close calls.


She was truly remorseful, she didn't even have her phone with her, and she held my hand until EMTs arrived.

Her insurance already maxed out her policy, which was well above the state minimums. Plus she's a school teacher. I know she doesn't have anything to sue for.

Guess whom I ran into last night? As I walk up to Tom & Shannon I'm asking, " So I have to go Daytona to see you guys?" They're looking at me as though I'm a Fuller Brush salesman. It was at the short track races, & the last time I saw them was Daytona last year. We hugged & talked, but they didn't offer me a hot dog. Maybe cuz they already scarfed.

Good news is, Tom's healing well. Better news is he has a replacement Connie 14 on the way. I offered to keep it exercised till he can ride, but he didn't seem too excited about that. I don't think he understands the travails of
sludged up throttle bodies. Or else he fully understands the implications of impound. I'm not sure.

Most likely going by there tomorrow morning, get it today to save me from riding the SX125 out there.

Hoo rayyyy!!!!! It's moving again.... even if it's up north.

I'm coming to Jax next weekend, better hope I don't move it to oblivion again.
