Anson County Tag

I looked for something unusual online to use for a tag and besides the expected Civil War history the only thing I found was the Character Danny Glover played in the movie The Color Purple is in Anson county. I found the address and off I went. I found the house but it would of been a hard picture to get. It is pretty far off the road and a private residence that has been upgraded since the movie so off I went to find something else.

Then this jumped out at me, good easy tag shot!





No clues or hints needed for this one, just need someone to ride!

Even Nutsy from the USA Tag was impressed.



Ashe county is next!!!

Nice tag. We may end up playing ping pong with this one if no one grabs it after the rain clears out.

I'm back home from spending a week on Harkers Island and looking foward to grabbing a few of these tags myself. I may be making a night run later in the week after I get settled in at home again.

The person who gets tag #6 has a bit of a drive ahead of them :eek1 and there's no way that I'll get to counties 7, 8, 9, & 10 before Thanksgiving break

B U M P to reflect a change made to the rules. Rule #6 has now been extended from 7 days out to 21 days. This will give folks more time to grab and place a tag. Hopefully it will get a few more folks interested in playing along.
