I moved down onto the lake bed so Internet is not as good.

Iain made it here about 5:30. We went to the drivers meeting and then they ran the car a couple of laps. The qaulifying course is all on this side of the hill. It's nice to get more personal view of the race.

I was on my old jeep forum this morning (myjeeprocks.com) and they had a post from last year, same location as Spa's pix. My how it has changed in a year. The buggies are just as interesting as the bikes...

Wow...yep, they're still going on strong. I've been doing their logo wear for years, just working with her on another embroidery run...hats, shirts, jackets, bags, etc. She is very nice to work with.

Some of the original founders there are who I had the opportunity to do the Rubicon trail with, about 2006. Here's my TJ at 'gate keeper':

    Hmmm...guess it was 2005
Waiting at entrance to the trail, spillway at Loon Lake. One of those adventures I will never forget. My 16 year old daughter Jessica did the trek with me. We had a super nice time. MJR folks were great.

I am broke like your jeep. On the 19th I'll find out if I need screws and plates for my collar bone. If I do need them, I expect :sweeti will tell me to sell the bikes and buy a jeep.

edit: Note to self......don't piss off Miss Val! :lol3
