Dave, we will meet you at Bluewater Springs roadhouse at 10.00ish tomorrow morning. For anyone in Townsville, we are leaving from the Rupertswood servo at 8.00, see you there Starters from Townsville so far are Barra, Dale and myself Cheers Graeme
Ken, should be there mid afternoon in time for the footy and a few rums, see you then looking forward to the ride and catching up.
Loved the hot springs meet fellas, looking forward to the next one. What route did you take south? am looking at the map and think I can see the one Dale was talking about from Ravenshoe but not sure about the one from Millaa Millaa. I'd love to join the dots and have a mountain top ride from Townsville to Cooktown with pubs along the way.
hi kenno we took the highway home through paronella park . i stop off at forrest beach to meet some family so i didnt get back to townsville with the others. Mountain top trek to cooktown with some pubs. battery started fine on the way home and two days after,so how knows got a new one just in case. dale
Thanks Dale, fancy the boys slabbin it home after giving shit about doing it haha. Good to hear you got home ok.
We took the scenic bendy route . A good run until we hit the highway. We got pulled over by the highway patrol. Some gents have fines to pay.
The beembers may have had a tough day out however their jockeys never left their mounts. Only one riders stallion fell in the sand pit, bloody klr suspension. Funny how you organise to meet a group of guys with the same interests for a maiden ride only to find that one leads you head on into a police ambush.... Thanks for the great weekend boys.. Constable care called me today as he incorrectly filled out my donation slip (no $ amount), asked if I could fill in the blank, I told him that I had already paid the $0 amount, he replied they would catch up with me if I wanted to be smart about it. They must extract the sence of humor gene from all cadets at the academy. Davo PS: Ken look forward to going pawning some time.
If you have fuel injection you could find yourself on the end of my XR tow rope and looking like this ( i tried to take it easy, it's true). This was a Husky with fuel injection that i had to tow back over the hann tableland along the hochimin single track and across the southedge flats to mt molloy. I heard yelling behind me and was only able to take a blurry photo once the laughing had stopped, me poor old mate looked like a termite mound.... I would rather walk out, he had to remove his goggles at this point and begged me to stay clear of mud for the next 15k, there was nothing but mud, look at the date stamp. I like carbys.
Little blond piece? It's the managers doughter from down south, best keep your hands to yourself, haha.
Nibble nibble. Yeah i know, easy fix Dale, just get a small gel battery and connect your electronics to it and fit a diode between new battery and cranking battery then no more voltage drop issue for it's cute little bmw brain. I admit it, the 650 xchallenge is an impressive all rounder, one of the best. Ken is mobile.
