Warning! Tires slashed - AZ Wildcat/Camp Creek/11-mile wash

It is as far as you can go north on 136th Street which is north of Rio Verde (what Dynamite is called east of Pima). There is actually a Tonto NF parking area (where this occured) complete with a kiosk with OHV maps. Although on this day I took my RZR, but there is some great singletrack trails in that area.

That's exactly the place. I would assume it is a resident of one of the 3 surrounding homes. Ironically, we have friends that used to live in one of those homes - the "Y" shaped one with white roof. Not them since they moved to PA about 7 years ago.

If you could just get video of the person vandalizing anything than going home. It could be a very good thing when they are trying to shut down that area and call all of us off roaders “the bad guys”

Latest development: Got a call from a Sheriff investigator this evening. Since most of us victims have been good about getting back to them about the cost to replace the tires, it has passed the threshold of felony vandelism with a deadly weapon (or somethng like that) and they are going to actually go after the culprit. Said they would begin by questioning the three adjoining residents and devote resources to possibly stake out the area. In regards to the sign, he said he would verify that it is indeed a public road and have the sign removed.

On the east coast(Massachusetts) we have come across this from either greenies, horse people or some other "bad" people.
Some even had the audacity to put up wire across the trail as well as the tire slashing!

There is some really screwed up people!!!

It does look like it is a local resident. The guy is obviously unstable. I would think if the Sherriff just knocked on every door, it would be quite obvious which one was the loon. However then must still catch him doing something unless he just admits it.

If I'm not mistaken those homes around that area are pretty nice. [edit] I just checked in Zillow and the homes there range from 300k to 2 million. :eek1
I wonder if they've had any complaints filed against motorists. It's probably some rich loon that thinks that the entire area belongs to him/her.

How many trucks will fit there? I say we fill up the parking lot this weekend
