I was in the NEK grabbing the Lock from the Dirt Tag-o-rama. Started too late in the day to snag both!

Many of us were on the DARC IV ride yesterday. FR 10 wasn't on the route. . .

    New Tag....

    Clue:
This is south of the old tag.... Lake is named after a nasty mill town/city in mass. north of Boston.... This is where one would put a boat in the lake...,

My Google Fu got us onto Sugar Hill Road and the White Rocks National Recreation Area off of it. We wondered around the Sugar Hill/140 loop and every road off of it for a good hour+ with an ever increasingly impatient pillion in tow.:lol3 She really was good sport.

Since last week's episode had us dodging deer just after dark we made it a point to head home dejected but it time to beat the deer rush hour. Our only consolation was we managed to snag the Adirondack tag today.:lol3

EC! :huh I'm pretty sure that we rode that road this spring with TheOtherSean, after Whaco. I think that was just before we stopped for lunch :dg. I remember thinking "I need to remember where this place is" There are just too many interesting looking roads around here :D.

    We did.

We came from the west yesterday and everything leading up to it was fantastic. It was a great way not to find a tag.:lol3

Bone up on your Massachusetts history. The city in question was tremendously important as the industrial revolution came to the U.S. and remained a destination for immigrants who were drawn by the textile industry for many years, before falling into hard times in the 20th century.

Going north this slightly quicker body of water is known for removing the life from more than a few people
