Meetup With Local Riders TN,WV In Late June

Hey all. I will be getting married in June and for our honeymoon we will be riding xcountry.
LittlePosum and I were curious if there are any meet ups or rallies going on in Tennessee or West Virginia around the last week of June.

BYOB 2014 June 20th-22nd Oxyoke Inn Galeton Pa
Not TN or WV but what's a couple hundred miles more if your riding cross country!

We WILL be going that way, but about 1 week or so to late.
Then again, there's really no set agenda other than the date we leave.
Looks like a good time!

Our plan is to leave Bend, Oregon on 6/12 and be in Arkansas around 6/20.
We are not taking much time to get through OR, ID, NV, UT, and CO since those are close enough we can pretty much go anytime.

Once we hit Arkansas we will slow the pace down. Our goal is to meet and ride with locals along the way, large meet ups or not.
The rough route brings us through AR,TN,WV,PA. Then to VT where I grew up.
A big part of where our route takes us is where and when we can meet other riders. There is no designated route on this month long trip!

I am on a Honda XR600R and LittlePosum a Suzuki DRZ400S. We are up for any kind of riding, trail or slab.

I will bump this thread up as the date gets closer. Look forward to meeting folks from each region along our ride!

Post up in the catherders thread too. We're up around Harrisonburg va but usually someone's around and always willing to show people around. Or better yet, just pick a place and date and start your own campout. People will show up.

Hi I'm LittlePosum soon to be Mrs. Dual Sport excited for our big moto adventure and to see your area! Ok catherders thread copy that. And yeah duh, why didn't I think of just making our own gathering! This summer be ready for a few fun loving invaders from the left coast!

Just over 3 months before we leave!

The time is almost here! We leave Oregon in less than 30 hours from now!

Not sure where we'll end up, but we will be working our way up to Vermont. I'll have a better idea in several days when we approach Arkansas.
I'll update this as we get closer and look for local suggestions!
