My home is where people would bug out to.
My truck carries enough stuff to get me home, or to make myself a home wherever I find myself.
My EDC (pockets full of crap) would make a survivalist jealous.

Pretty much got it covered, and oddly enough it isn't because I'm any kind of prepper. Can you believe I do ALL of this without having to carry any kind of lead injection device? Crazy.

Lets get back on track. My motorcycles are my daily "drivers" and I have my GHB (the bag, not the drug) with me 99% of the time. It's mostly just my lunch bag, but it has other goodies too.

It's the Maxpedition Jumbo S-Type Versipack (I have to look it up every time someone asks me), in orange, naturally. I love orange stuff, it makes me visible, and it's hard to lose

Between my pockets and my bag, I have what SEEMS like a lot of shit, but it's really not.

-Cell phone
-Keys to all the vehicles (I don't like losing my keys), house, work, etc
-Flashlight
-Knives, knives and more knives - Cold Steel fixed blade (the workhorse and sharpest knife I've ever encountered, carried on the shoulder strap), Swiss Army, Kershaw Baby Boa, Buck Paradigm, and Spyderco serrated something-or-other. I love knives. Best - tool - EVER
-Coffee mug or water bottle
-Pen, pencil, Sharpie and notepad
-Screwdriver with different bits
-Crescent wrench (fuck yes I carry a crescent wrench. Any real man should be able to produce a wrench, knife and screwdriver at a moments notice!)
-Sunglasses
-Snack bars (not in the picture, they got eaten)
-Travel sized playing cards. Best way to beat boredom, used them many-a-time.
-Bandanna (great for headgear, neck warmer, rag, or handkerchief)
-Wallet, if it's not in my pocket
-Check book
-$100 in emergency cash (best used for gas to get home)
-Ruger LCP .380 (again, if it's not on my person) with a few extra rounds
-Mini survival kit, which includes:
-Poncho
-Space blanket
-Paracord
-Razor blades
-Butane lighter
-Bic lighter
-Waterproof matches
-Magnesium fire starter
-Fishing line
-.357 rounds for the revolver

All this, and my main compartment remains EMPTY for whatever else I need for the day. Lunch if going to work, camera gear if going for a photog session, tools if I go on an install at work etc.

It sounds like a lot of shit when I type it all out, but it takes up VERY little space, and I've used most of it at one time or another. People comment on my "man purse" fairly often. I don't dislike the term at all. It really IS a man purse. Only instead of makeup, I have lighters. Instead of a mirror, I have knives. Instead of tampons, I have a gun.

A man can never have too many knives

Really though, they all serve different purposes. The Buck for pocket carry, the Cold Steel for heavy duty stuff, the Spyderco is serrated for rope/line etc... they all work well, for their intended purpose.

I carry my .357 on the shoulder strap when I'm hunting/hiking, and like to have a few extra rounds. I mean hey, why not?

It looks like that spare bottom end would fit in there nicely as well!

1.) That's not a lot of knives.
2.) One would assume that the spare rounds were for the EDC gun.
3.) Is that where you hang it while riding? ( I like forward luggage, just need to build the crash bars first!)

Ha! The bottom end is from a 1966 Suzuki I'm currently working on. It might not *quite* fit.
