Off the Blue Ridge Parkway there are all these dirt roads. We were just picking and riding.

I got a Nikon D600 for Christmas from my Sweetie and I have been learning as I go. It has full frame 1080P video which I'm trying to learn. Tons of different settings. I figured out after I took this video that I need to turn off the auto focus and use the tripod with the bigger lens.

My machine tells me the last three videos are "private". Is it true or have the Feds been messing with me again?

I think I fixed it. Went to you tube and changed to public. Let me know if it's fixed

Yep-they're workin' now. Brings me right back, in fact.
If it weren't for life getting in the way, I could do that all over again,

I think your snake you photographed in post #31 was a Rat Snake. Really common throughout the East...

Here's my latest recap video. This was one of our top days on the dirt.

You can skip ahead a couple of minutes if you don't want to hear the commentary.

Excellent compilation Keith! We did get a little of everything that day-including perfect weather.

    Great video Keith :clap:clap:clap

It was great riding with Jim and Keith. I'm a lot slower, ok I'm more of a chicken then them , and they would wait for me to catch up.

I think I wore out my front brakes on this trip and I don't remember seeing Jim's or Keith's brake light that much :lol3

When following this route were you using the GPX files for the TET? If so did you run into many closed or gated roads up in the hills and have to back track and re route ??

We got the gpx files from the Laying down the tracks forum and they all seemed fine. We did look at the maps and explored different areas too. But over all no problems.

Ok thank you. Is this the same route that gets you from the Berkshires all the way down to south western Virginia, WV ??
