Interesting map, SpotWalla has of North Korea. Google Earth doesn't have much more information, but a little.

Not the vibe I get; I'll bet he's a tough guy in a tough place, and he's playing a very rough game. I doubt he has had a lot of time in his life to spend on screwing around learning to ride a motorcycle.

The only other nation i could see Putin fitting in and thriving would be Isreal.

Are you saying that Norton did a 500 twin in 1940? I though that they were all singles at that time.

I'm willin to ride thru there & get some more mapping info, but they dont seem to want to give out tourist visas.
Kim Dung Ill was in russia, at lake baikal last week for a meeting. Had I known in time, maybe I coulda met him, & asked in person for a visa?
Hard to resist that ol southern charm when I pour it on.

of course I'd be pouring it on a heaping plate of bullshit....

Hey now, play nice. Bama's awesome. Speaking of toxic waste, at least we don't get that crappy LA smog dripping over the pass from The Valley like you poor bastards in Agoura, Calabasas & TO.

    Doug,
I finally figured out you had to back out and take the highway due to circumstances (OK, I missed that, sorry). However you are very good with 'Ride Reports' could you "interview" those who continued and perhaps grab some pics so we can see the finish of the adventure?

    Thanking you in anticipation, beers,

oh yes, the highway. 4 lanes of perfect blacktop, with rest area oasis's & shade trees, fountains, restaurants. Some even had dancing girls to welcome the travellers!

The highway, oh what a wonderful road it was.

I'll get around to posting more pics when I have time, right now I'm hauling ass west.
