A mere 1200 km to Murmansk. That's only about three times across my home country.

LOL.. reminds me of this sign (they were almost right!)

I really had NO business on that snow-packed road... the stock Pirellis are NOT snow tires! It was almost like ice skating drunk and I almost had the opportunity to take some "napping" photos . Though, it was fun playing in the ruts on the way back out to 119!

Bishop, CA

Into Utah

Found it less than 2 miles north of Bishop. Started to take US 6 many times and just never have.

Somewhere in Western Sahara..


the writing is in Hungarian and it says: "Don't step on the grass!"

I've driven the first 450 miles from Bishop to Delta, Utah several times and grew up near the other end.
