    So, I went to the local Lowes store yesterday to get some baking soda for my new soda blaster. Checked out with 8 pounds of the stuff and the cute little check out girl looked at me and innocently said "Ah, Baking Soda, keep it fresh now."


    To which I stupidly replied "Thanks, YOU TOO."

    What it sounds like: CO2 (dry ice) pellets or snow and high pressure air. All that's left behind is whatever you blasted off...

    Only down side is you can't keep a few sacs of dry ice laying around until you need it. It's probably not the cheapest option out there either.

    The machine I saw in person was making it's pellets up on the spot from liquid stored in tanks. Some make snow the same way. You can keep blocks of dry ice a long time in a freezer---the grocery stores do it so they have it to sell.
