Be advised, you do need to obtain permits in advance before crossing El Camino Del Diablo. The Barry Goldwater range requires watching a movie and signing a stack of hold harmless forms.

Not only is the road impassible when wet, they may close sections. There is a section that crosses a dry lake bed, which would be a problem if it is not dry.

I need to do a little research. I want to have time to do a little exploring along the way. It's for sure an overnighter.

First I have to do something about my 650s oil consumption.

    I want a cool hat like Terry's. :lol3

Did the Crown King ride yesterday...

First time working on Travis's bike. (Stuck carb float)

Second time working on Travis's bike. (Snagged throttle cable)

    Thumbs up while soaking wet...

    Snow is getting deeper...

Snow is really coming down now...

At this point we cried uncle and turned around. We were soaking wet and the trail was getting covered. Goggles were useless and we couldn't see the rock, ditches or ruts in the trail anymore. Great ride though!

That looks like a fantastic ride!

Anyone want to go out for a ride tomorrow? I have off and don't want to spend it sleeping on the couch.

Since they graded most of the rough stuff out it is big bike friendly and is a B route.
