It's about fuct up that we are not allowed to use motorized vehicles on certain roads, but it's OK to just rape the Forrest for oil. Am I missing something here.
As for the people saying "don't want to be dependent on foreign oil". Nobody is saying "don't drill for oil in America". Just don't do it in the GD Forrest. How hard is that? I know they can drill miles away & turn into the Forrest. Do that.

We are thinking about riding over from Tallahassee for the meeting... not 100% sure yet but if we go we have a burb that seats up to nine and will be willing to provide transport to others for gas money.

Activism at-large is wonderful. Glad to see it, friends.

But let us not forget to do the follow-the-money rubric on whyTF Rep. Broxson got behind this in the first place. $$:nod$$

    I smell payola

I also smell a short State-level political career for squire Broxson, despite his family name gravitas in SR county (Broxson Landing, anyone?)

    Bye, bubba :wave

Billy, hope they don't suck the oil out from under your property out there and give you squat.
    Could that be the plan?
Pay little for public land lease/oil rights and twist those drilling pipes into the surrounding private properties and get that oil too.

    Win-win AGAIN for the corporations.

Broadbrush FAIL, friend. I'm one of those environmentalist whackjob types against the Drill and urging protection to access for bikes in Fed/State Gov lands. There are more of us than you might think, guy. The Ideology spread of the folks that signed that petition might surprise you. And i suspect that's precisely why Broxson caved.

Striving for good land stewardship for ALL land uses-- m/c's, jeeps, horse-folks, lumber folks, hunters, birders, pitcher plant fans, butterfly freaks, mushroom hunters, fishers, fern-sniffers, etc etc etc etc-- is what this is about.

Convenient grab-handle 'whackjob' terminology shit is going to work less and less.

I woke a lot to the local political diversity these last many days.
I used to always look upon Bronx Landing as something to smile about....

    dammit.
