This motorcycle just did a 300 mile roundtrip...yesterday and today.... 2UP!!!!
Through the Catskills and down into the Delaware.....and back...
Guess what?
no problems.......... except leaving the fly rod behind

oh shit!!i think mine only has a fly wheel:eek1 but it still runs o.k.

So if you packed the 'rod and it was jarred loose on a bumpy road... would you say the bike threw a fly rod?

Do you have some excellent pics of the mounting brackets?
I have a pair of Wixoms I'd love to hang on the bike but the mounts are unobtainium... thinking it's a DIY project.

I may be able to adapt /5-Wixom brackets without too much trouble.

It just so happens I have a slightly rusted set of spare brackets that came with the bike. They're Buco specific, but with a wee bit of ingenuity.....

My /2 earlier this summer on a 200 mile round trip up to Pecos, NM from Abq.

Chobro, those are the first bags I've seen besides Carl's GIVI system that I actually like on a /2. (sorry Dan)

They actually seem to blend, if that is the right word, with the bike. Short seat is a nice touch too.

Renner has now convinced me that one of these days, I will have to get the sport tank on my /2. For now, I just need to get it built and running, but that tank with the solo seat makes it just look... kinda tough. Like it's muscular but still with the /2 elegance. I dunno, maybe that sounds weird, but it just fits, ya know?
The big heinrich tanks are just too big. Too much of a good thing.

Here is my R50. It isn't a /2, but most can't tell anyway.
BTW, anybody who has restored one knows, it's a Cash 2!

Why would that not be a /2?
With the Earl's, slingers, and that frame... it fits my definition of a 2....
