Basically they made a graphics/film that they broadcast on to the watchtower (using the tower as a video screen) that has some neat effects and the like incorporating the features of the tower.

Are you sure you don't own a KLR?

Weather permitting (no snow), I'm riding to the Tech Center tommorrow. Maybe towards Loveland. Too bad you don't have that crotch rocket put together and running. Would like having the company.

(Thanks Geek. I'll watch it on my cell, much quicker.)

Thx for the reply. Unfortunately, I've found that I don't need a cager to hurt me on the street; twice. Nothing broken but certainly scary. :huh

Heading north on the Guzzi tomorrow, hoping to stay ahead of the weather for a day or so and bop around... head back Sunday.

Route uncertain....if anyone feels like a last minute weekend road trip.

I can no longer ethically follow most stated traffic laws on a street bike as I feel these laws only apply to four-wheeled vehicles. So, I ride on the dirt where there are no police. :deal

That's pretty funny, it's exactly why I started riding in the dirt many years ago: only have to obey the laws of physics. :deal

But; they are enforced immediately. :bluduh

Between clients today I took a little time on the 950 to go ride some canyons and to go check out the aftermath of the Fourmile Fire (before the snow hits).

    Devastating.

It was completely random. A home burned, its neighbor spared, the next neighbor burned.

Countless trees scorched; the area will never be the same. :cry

    Phew, what a week.

Good news: Fired up the KLR for the first time in at least two months. Damn battery was dead and wouldn't take a charge, so a new one was needed. She's running now though and I can't wait to take her for a spin.

Better news: Holy sh*t, the kitchen is done. Seriously, DONE. Bike wheelin' and dealin' may resume at any time. :)

Crappy news: Some clown rear ended Secret Agent Monday night. ER visit+ intense pain+vicodin+visits to the Chiro=SUCKS.

    Pics, or it didn't happen:

The car did its job and crumpled up like a PBR can. After several days of nonsense, the insurance co coughed up a loaner and will be sending over an adjuster on Monday. I took it to a local panel beater and he says $8K, minimum. Personally, I'd rather they total it and cut me a check.

Any tips on that front, much appreciated.

dang, sorry Opie to hear that. I had a rear ender that looked like that and at the time I was definitely sore. Dummy me, I just went out for PT treatments & pain medication. I accepted that thinking it was just an acute inflammation and would go away. Turns out it came back time to time with recurring pain for a few years. Defnintely keep that in mind as the insurance company is surely trying to cut you a check for loose change.
