As a former XRR junkie me-self, imagine your XR w/ almost twice the horsepower and much more stable on the black stuff. It is longer and heavier but it gives the same feeling of confidence and indestructibility. It's going to ruin you for any other DS bike............FOREVER!

very cool pics, but I need to know - what have you used to mount your road book? I still have not found a really good solution, but yours looks damn near perfect!!

I will owe you the usual pint of beer if I'm ever in Athens or you are in the UK :)

    cheers

This little gadget might hook you up, not 100% sure it will fit the super E, well almost...

Add some rubber bushings and mount the RB or bolt it down tight.

nice one thanks - I've pinged them a mail to see if the 4 holes match the RB.

    cheers

    Markie

EDIT - the one in the pic above does look like it'll put the RB in a better position for reading though. Still nice to have options!!

Send me a PM sometime after January 2 or else I'll forget but if I can find it I have one of those setups I don't use. You can have it for shipping if it works out for ya.

Dammit!!! I have got to stop looking at this thread! I want one of these orange beauties, but life keeps happening! If Uncle Sam doesn't come thru at tax time, I'll have to off the GSA for 1!:(: This is driving me to :dutch!

Do it! I went from a GSA to an SE and loved the change. For me the bike was more comfortable than the GSA, both on road and off, after I put the 690E windscreen and a Renazco seat on it.

The GSA is a great bike if you just want to tour around, but the SE was an awesome twisty carving, dirt ripping, tire shredder! (seriously, you'd better set aside some cash for rear tires...)

    Hey gents.

Just jumped into the OC scene a couple weeks ago with the purchase of an 08 SE. I finished installing a few items and snapped some quick picks of the girl,,, thought I'd share here.

    List of goodies....

    FMF Duals
    RAD 17" Sumo set up,
    HDB hand guards,
    BDCW Tail Rack,
    BDCW Side Stand Relo,
    BDCW Bash plate,
    Center Stand,
    CJ Peg extensions,
    CJ Fork Mounts (for lights),
    Rear Ressi guard,
    RI LED's,
    First Gear Tail Bag,
    55W DDM HID.

There is a 690 wind screen addition in my near future,,, but so far I love the bike. I still have a bit of playing to do with the looks. I'm gonna add some orange to the hand guards and the fork protectors with some custom decals. (too much black up there)

Here are a few pics of her in street clothes. I have a full OEM dirt set up with fresh 908/608 combo in the garage for the dirt work.
