I've only just got 1000km on the clock for its first service (and its booked in for warranty work already! - LH fuel injector and top-case lid replacement)

GSA30 Picked up yesterday, secondhand with 700miles on the clock ! All the options.

Put a deposit down on my GSA today, # 5913, all options, from Bavarian Motor cars in Stuttgart Germany. All I have now is the emailed photo from the dealership:

Been riding in the rain and high 30 degree temps ever since. Who needs to wait for spring with one of these?

I flew to Germany and picked up my new girl. 900 miles in 2 days back to Napoli, and I still love her. A huge improvement over the FZ6.

Right after I got into Austria. I had to buy the 4.50 euro pass to drive through.

Also in Austria at a random parking spot.

Back in the garage!!!

BTW.. my friend here in Italy just put a deposit down on his own 30th GS. He will be picking it up this weekend.

Congrats Xavier! Wish I was passing through Italy to take advantage of that "couch surfer" offer!! Maybe someday.

More a lurker than a poster...here's my new GS 30th edition, picked up in Wurzburg, Germany and ridden down to Napoli in the same vein as Xavier296 (I'm the friend he referred to in the bottom of his post). I had a blast riding it down and coming from a Ducati GT1000, it's amazing how much a windscreen helps on the highways (and those heated grips!!!).

New Enduro lid does not disguise my melon head well enough, but is light and very comfy and quiet. Must get tinted visor to avoid frightening small children.



And back in Dungog. "Dungog" means "land of many pot holes" in the aboriginal language.*
