Well it looks like I'm going to join the club and take a drink from the koolaid jug! I want you all to know it's your fault, this is what I get from spending to much time on ADV and here in orange crush!!!! I will be doing a fly n ride in two weeks from Nor Cal to So Cal and doing a four day return ride with a run through DV. I have a plated xr650r now that will keep this big beast company in the garage. Dam you KTM Nate for ever letting ride your 950, I now know this was all a set up!!!!!

Welcome.... and btw, it's not Kool-Aid, it's just a damn good bike!!! No brainwashing and don't look at the man behind the curtain here.... The bikes KTM makes speak for themselves. The Kool-Aid thing is just something jealous BMW riders made up to poke fun at us!:D

You're going to love the bike and forget about every other bike you've owned when you ride it. The power.... the suspension.....the capability on and off road....

This is the first bike I've owned that makes me grin on AND off the bike. After riding this bike I can't believe BMW have the nerve to call their adventure bikes "Enduro" bikes. LOL

    PS I can say these things, I come from a F800GS and a G450X.

I just did a fly and ride from Arizona to Michigan, other than a cool ride back things went great. Liked the bike on the ride back, love the bike now that I've rode a bit in the dirt.....No regrets!!!

The only thing the wife said about buying the big girl was that she liked the grey one best! So guess what color I got, yep grey.... you know what they say, if momma aint happy ain't nobody going to be happy!!!! Orange would have looked good next to my orange side by side but everything I have read said grey was definitely the fast color... He, he thanks for all of the input and information...

It doesn't matter the color of the bike. You drank the Kool-aid. Pretty soon you'll have this bizarre attraction to orange things. It usually starts with the baseball caps.

Pretty soon you'll be looking for orange cell phone accessories.

After that, you start seeking out orange clothing.

And the obsession culminates with buying orange things that you don't know what to do with that you didn't really need but that you bought because they're orange.

The 12-step program starts not long after this point, but the good thing is that you can ride the bike to the meetings.

Ok I know I'm going to be new to the whole KTM thing and all but is the last thing an orange sex toy or a tool that I will need? Just want to stay ahead of the curve...

I was just kidding when I said it was a sex toy! I guess I wasn't so far off. Man it is a sickness when even the " other toys" have to be orange... The wife better look out once I get this baby home.....
