This and I asume there's probably only the One King Dick present at Barbers will be running in the Century Race tommorrow at 11-11:30 A.M. Be there or not.
The bike has a Kentucky Wrecking Crew connection and will be fetttled on the 2nd level of the pits by Duddles of ADV and K.W.C. fame.
I'll be there too after checking out the Unclaimed Baggage center here in Scottsboro in the A.M.
Where is ADV central ? And does anyone know what row RTW Dougs swapmeet set setup is on ?
I'm riding {the piss] out of my '92 KLR. Come on baby, show me 54,000 tommorrow!

+1. I could written the same thing...except it's not raining here...yet! :lol3 I had a revelation that if I clean up the garage around the area where the CB360T is currently dis-assembled for the past 2 years, it will magically get put back together and I can go ride it again! And get the van inside the garage this winter; Mrs. RAGBrian would be amused.

At my visit to Barber a couple of months back, I got an autographed copy of David Haynes book Motorcycling Alabama in the gift shop. I figured I would use it to help me find some great routes into the next Vintage Festival.

Down and back on Das Beast... everyone asked "how much does that big tank hold or...how far can you go with that"? 320 miles on the tank, full, from about 10 miles from Barber. On reserve turning into my drivewayVender Area was my only haunt. Didn't make museum or track... this year. Sometimes a little is enough.

Great trip, great experience, great place.

Nice Event! I was there all three days and taunted Mother Nature by riding down to the Festival after lunch on Sunday. Didn't even get sprinkled upon!

I didn't watch much racing this time, I wandered around a lot and ended up settling down in any of several locations and vegging.

I didn't even do much photography this year, either. I did snag one celebrity photo, though:

Elektric Rick of the House of Motorrad at Rick's Cafe' Schtuttgaaart in Vendoria City at the Festival . Posed behind... The Cycle of Doom whilst swilling a vile County Sain'Clair brew (not, of course, implying that he is a poseur).

I had a fantastic time but I'm driving next year so I can take home some of the great deals at the swap. I'm also considering taking part in the vintage trials.

Here is a link to my photobucket album with a selection of the 250 pics I took from the "commoners" side of the fence. I screwed up and only brought my tele lense which made it rather difficult to take shots in the museum. I have little experience with photographing subjects at speed so I apologize that the pics are not magazine quality as seen above.

These folks had a great race. Fun to watch each lap as they traded places!
