Well the hack is a full flexi from 1925. It has a brake and a crap load of horns, what could go wrong? Definitely good for transporting young ones.
Installed lots of good stuff on the F800GS the past 2 weeks: HyperPro Front Spring kit, SKF Fork seals, Wheel bearings, Bestrest upgraded shock bolt, GPR Stabilizer, and LeoVince exhaust More pics and comments on my blog: http://moto-mikey.com/2013/02/moto-maintenance-and-mods/
I posted this on my blog: "The GPR Stabilizer was also pretty straight forward to install. I unfortunately had to uninstall my Rox Risers since they wouldnt work with GPR lower bar mount I like the fact that on setting #1 there is practically zero dampening. I have read that a few aftermarket dampers always have some dampening even on the lowest setting. On setting #8, it provides a moderate amount of dampening.. though I do wish it was a bit more. I will probably ride with it on #5-6 most of the time. In addition to it being easy to use and working as intended, it looks great!"
Not exactly today, (as it is snowing and freezing) but near the end of October. Back from a beer run and tested out the KLR influenced tackle box panniers. success. i know i know coors but it was on sale...and up here in canada a sale on beer means a pilgramage and a bulk purchase. $35-$40 for 24 coors. i will never get used to our liquor prices...
Finished my install of my new adjustable forks and new springs today. no pictures as of yet ( snowing today) ill get some pictures and a review asap.
Well tried to install my TT LED foglights today... these new instructions are rubbish, the screws were to big for the holes and I ended up loosing 2cm of my main beam cable... Well it was a good day If I get it right during the week I'll update my post
Today we're painting the windscreen: Last weekend we got new tires: Two weeks ago we went for a boat ride: In two weeks we're leaving WA for Death Valley. More photos then for sure!
Slight over-enthusiasm trying to get over the transition into my driveway, and it got just enough away from me that, well, let's just say I don't need a garage door opener anymore. If there's one thing in life I've learned it's that it's nice to have a big lever.
Big lever action, real s-l-o-w trigger, ever mothers fear, ever hi school girls dream Once upon a time in a life long, long ago , now only in melancholy memories.
