Seriously, you just paid to put glorified metal stickers on your truck.

    WTF is that about?

I mean, some bumpers are chrome, and they are also the lowest point of the vehicle. So I guess it almost makes sense.

I'm guessing your wife drives a four door Wrangler with diamond plate on some portion of it for no good reason.

    Sweet.

While you're at it, when you go spend all your money on cool shiny skull wheels and gnarly mudders, could you get the right offset so they dont fling rocks and rooster tails 20 feet in the air?

There's a black/red 2nd generation Cummins in a nearby town that has been defaced with this stick-on chrome, and I cannot fathom the reason why because I think that paint scheme is the best-looking factory one I've seen. :huh

Those are shoe mirrors- you know, so that you can see if you have mud on your shoes before getting in your truck...

After a few gravel roads the paint behind the wheels on my truck was trashed! Speckles of white primer shining where the black had been blasted off. I did not want flaps because they eventually will tear off. So i rhino lined the bottom rocker of my truck. Works great! I am going to think that that shiny ass shit is some sort of protection against debris hitting the truck? Though there is alot of area unprotected with that chrome stuff? Maybe folks is not all that bright and the bling is their thing?

Seems like the chrome stick on panels would allow or cause the area behind them to rust out much faster. Spray on bedliner is more better, I think.
My own truck just has rust in that area. Can't see it from where I sit!

To me the bed liner is as tacky as the chrome strips.

As my mother always says: To each his own.

I don't care for badges and glitter. Before I had 1000 miles on my new truck, I took all the Sierra, FlexFuel, dealership and Texas Edition badges off it. Then I took it to Big Bend for a free desert pin striping job.

The red spaghetti hanging down in the breeze and the 3x4 ramps are a nice touch.
