Hey Laconic, I used to do group rides and enjoyed it, but that was back when I was single and the kids were all gone. Things have changed and I don't have that much time any more, but I'll look into the Seneca Rocks thing. We rode that area a couple years ago and found some amazing roads, like riding a roller coaster!

Man, that tire is screwed! Hope that didn't ruin your day. I've had simialr things happen and have successfully used plug patches to repair, put thousands of miles on without the tiniest leak:

Slather the glue on, pull it through from the inside, FIXT.

Yes, there is a lot of riding in the Lexington area and I'm foaming at the mouth to go check it out on the little WR250R. I sold all my dirt bikes when I moved here from Wyoming and have missed them terribly, so I'm looking forward to getting out on this bike. I need to lower it some since the guy I bought it from is 7 inches taller than me...

Take care all, happy Easter, hope to see you out there soon!

Oh yeah, I saw the photo of the yurts outside of Floyd and wanted to comment - we have some neighbors that live year 'round in two yurts. They built a huge deck in the meadow near their creek, then built a smaller yurt for kitchen/bathroom and storage and a larger one for a living area on the deck. I haven't been inside but mutual friends say it is VERY nice and comfy all year. It's an interesting idea but I guess I'm more of a traditionalist, I want a foundation and real walls!

The fact that you want to live in a yurt has nothing to do with the two of you being nuts. And I don't think being nuts is a bad thing.
