Dusting this morning. Sun's out. Give a bit and the mains will be fine. May step it up a notch and hit the Holy Grail of ride destinations in NH for a light lunch.:dg

Keep us posted on the 685 kit project.

Not quite there yet but in a week or two if there isn't too much snow+ice on the roads I am thinking I may venture back out for the first time since the accident.

I thought about venturing out this morning, but the backroads are still iced up with patches of snow, while the mains are covered in salt (too much salt). So, I finally started the WR and messed around in the yard for an hour, learning the way she handles. man, this bike NEEDS to rev up - no slow climbing in second gear like the KLR. It also doesn't like a foot plus of snow to go through on an incline, but no bike would :lol3 At least it's light to pick up.

    Not that bigga deal, Rich.

    IN OTHER NEWS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Stole this from BluePill and made a slight change.

A DEA Agent stopped at a yurt in Texas and talked to an old rancher. He told the rancher, "I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs." The rancher... said, "okay, but don't go into that field over there...", as he pointed out the location. The DEA Agent verbally exploded and said, "look mister, I have the authority of the federal government with me!" Reaching into his rear back pocket, the arrogant officer removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the rancher. "See this badge?! This badge means I can go wherever I want... On any land! No questions asked, no answers given! Do you understand old man?!"

The rancher kindly nodded, apologized, and went about his chores. Moments later the rancher heard loud screams, he looked up and saw the DEA agent running for his life, being chased by the ranchers big Santa Gertrudis Bull...... With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it was likely that he'd sure enough get gored before he reached safety. The officer was clearly terrified. The old rancher threw down his tools, ran as fast as he could to the fence, and yelled at the top of his lungs......

"YOUR BADGE! SHOW HIM YOUR BADGE!"

Weather Channel, which is always completely accurate, suggests Sunday will be 46°F around these parts.

If some of the ice melts off my driveway I would be up for a ride. Since it will be the first post-surgery ride probably best if I don't venture off on my own. You up for a lunch ride?

I may be up for a ride...I'd rather go in the woods, but who knows what it looks like out there. Street may be the only option.
