By the looks of that shot, Greg, when you're not using your jaw for eating or talking, you could make some money on the side using it to dig ditches.
I don't trust practice. But if it turns put that Ferrari really have improved their pace, it will be a remarkable comeback. That car was middle-of-the-pack at the start of the season. (Alonso leading the driver's is unbelievable.)
now saying I look like Schumi is cruel. not the quali I wanted, but Alonso looks fast. I am going with Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton
This could be an interesting race. Pole sitter doesn't own Montreal. As always, the start will be interesting. If they can stop Vettel from running off, things could get tasty. I wonder if a contender (Vettel, perhaps) will try a 1-stop strategy?
Hamilton will knock out Vettel before the first pit stop, possibly in the pits. Ross Brawn will time his stops perfectly and Schumi will lead the charge of the year. Last ten laps will be a fight between Schumi & Alonso. Massa starts to drive for his seat & not a paycheque. Schumi, Alonso, Massa.
Did anyone notice that the scoring/position list on the left hand side of the screen was missing during Q2 and Q3, at least on Speed? Was that a world feed problem or has Speed removed it. It adds a ton to the excitement of qualifying to see who's where, who's on the bubble, etc. Did anyone watching in Europe have the same issue? JC
I remember it happening in Monaco, too. I'll hold off on the hate mail to Speed for a while..... And that was a pretty good race, too!
that's the first race i've seen in a while, since i don't have speedtv anymore. not bad, although the drs overtaking seems pretty easy (once you get within that one second window anyway ) the difference in tire life between teams was amazing. awesome to see sauber on the podium.
couple of other random shots: Massa, driving for his job: Red Bull radio: "don't worry Mark, he'll spin shortly" Lewis dropped by after the race:
