alright, doG knows I enjoyed the ride report. I used it to show my wife that a KLR can go from Maryland to Alaska. She said, "Yeah, and he is alot older then you".....

NOW I FIND OUT YOU ARE ONLY TWO YEARS OLDER???

Dude, that trip really aged you....:lol3

Not a comment shall exit my lips on this. I will only sympathize with you.

2010 huh? I should be almost done (not really) with school then. I am gonna do this... Maryland to Dawson then on to Alaska, through Canada though I think. Just to add a bit of "adventure" by riding through a "foreign" country...:lol3

You taken the KLR or are you planning on something Orange?

I highly recommend a large loop trip... once you settle into the trip it is great for reflection, deep thoughts, and garners you entry into the lives of a splendid variety of people. :deal

You will not be unchanged :deal

    Im gonna bump this one.

This, Gaspipe and BigDog, Drrags, and a few others were what hooked me.

Years ago I googled something like “Motorcycle to Alaska” and found this place.

This story though sealed the deal.
