Boise ride this weekend...

It's good to see Ryan is still kicking! You ready to ride?

On to the riding subject. I am planning on doing a re-ride of my Crystal Crane Hot Springs ride from March 2010. It will be one of the last two weekends in March. When it gets closer I'll just pick the weekend that looks like good riding weather. Look here for some pics of the 2010 ride:

Hit the Reynolds Creek area today and conditions were great. No dust. Perfect amount of moisture in the ground. Sand washes were a blast. Just a touch of snow at the upper elevations. Fun to ride in. Get out there and hit it while it's good!

it looked pretty good up to about the 4000' level when we were out there, but we didn't go farther than that... however; this latest storm should have mad a mess of it again...

I am indeed. I worked on getting that fugly DR350 running today and succeeded, so now I'm eager to get out to the desert and see how it runs.

That was an outstanding ride. I remember Wurty about DIED that day ~ that was his 1st experience with the Boise crew trying to run his a@@ into the ground!

I probably won't be in shape well enough for that ride by the end of next month ~ I picked up a case of the cancers over Christmas break, and just finished radiation (wiped me out pretty good) recently. So, I'm hoping that about that time I'll be told that the cancer has gone into remission (shrunk back down to a size they deem reasonable) and I'll be ready to get back into riding shape again for this summer.

Good news, is, I've cut my graduate classes in 1/2 so I'm hoping I'll get some more saddle time once my energy level returns!!

Ya. I'd like to go tour that byway on a Strom when it dried out. That's often a decent 'early ride' if you can avoid the soup up high.

That would be me. It sure was a great day to ride yesterday. Hopefully I can get out and go riding with some of you this year.

Some nice weather coming up at the end of the week. I think I'll have to go for a ride. I want to go out to the Oreana 100 race site and ride the other loop of the course that us Sportsman class riders didn't run. See what I missed. Maybe there were less whoops on that loop.
