It's not broken-in until it looks like this.

Great pic of the clouds hanging low. I agree, this is a good tradition in the making.

I got out for a ride today too: My Turkey Day ride

There's something about that last picture that I like, I dodn't know what it is but I really like it.

Nice to see you guys were out having a good time on your motorcycles although that white stuff looks cold. :vardy At least I can enjoy your riding from my nice warm living room. :D

I hate to point this out, but Saturday now looks much worse, and Sunday looks like a really nice dry cold day.

Been watchin it - although Sunday does look better, tomorrow doesn't look that bad to me. Could be rainy in the morning, but changes to showers later in the day. That's if you can believe that weather forecast bullcrap. Short of HEAVY rain in the morning, I'm still planning on meeting up in Yamhill for breakfast.

If it looks okay in the morning, I will truck out there, but I just don't have the gear to ride in that kind of cold if it is raining.

Sure turned out to be a nice day to run to the hills. We managed to run fast all day and not hit a lick of rain. Not bad for November in Oregon. Not many pictures, but here's a few of the ones I did take.

LoudAl, S1Marks and FitRider were up for a little forest adventuring.

Lot's of deep woods and high clear cuts.

Finally made it back to Barney Reservoir, a place that's a little hard to get to without crossing gates. We kinda lucked our way into it.

Great day to play in the woods.

Sunday isn't looking too bad, and I have it "free". Anybody up for ride?

Mark - Still curious of your route from Diamond Mill over to the Kilches. Same goes for Nehalem. Maybe make a loop outta it with an afternoon break at the coast (Nehalem)? We could meet up at Manning DQ or someplace warmer like the "Log Cabin" in Gales Creek.

    Hey Scott and Mark--S1

Are you gonna meet and do a cheap ride in the coast range ?

I got this 250R I would like to ------wring it`s neck so to speak.

    What time and where ?

I would haul it to the area for the ride------then enjoy the ride home.

Were still on. Weather not great, but PM showers sounds pretty good to me. Let's meet up at Colemans*, that little restaurant next to the Gales Creek Shell in at 9:00ish. Plan to have kickstands up at 9:30. I may get there a little bit early and grab a warm breakfast.

General plan is to head up out of Diamond Mill and check out the roads up and over to some of the coastal drainages (Nehalem/Kilches), maybe a warming stop at the coast in the early afternoon (or not). Mostly looking for forest roads/jeep tracks, not planning on single track, but are planning on running public roads so a plate will be required. Open to anybody that wants to show up.

Dan/others, if you wanna drive you could leave a rig at Diamond Mill after breakfast and we can pick you up on the way. Hmmm....warm freeway drive...not a bad idea!

Hope to see someone in the morning.
