    Here. Here.
I love this group! Great to see everyone.

Now that summer's here again, I'd like to offer to host the Meet-and-Eat at my studio in Oakland - if all are down for that. I've got a nice patio area with a fire pit and BBQ - and there's plenty of bike parking. I was thinking to grill for everyone, and to have a bonfire with fancy hardwood scraps. Whaddaya think?

June looks pretty wide open except for the 19th [my anniversary]. Someone name a date.

Wish me luck at the Sheet Iron this weekend.
    Steve

I vote yes on the Gringo's shop! :clap

So good to see everyone at the Warehouse, old faces and new! Nice to meet Mrs. Larryboy, too! (No, I won't call you Donna...)

I'll post up some more photos later today, I gotta get to work right now, but here are a few from the Wall...

Is it Tuesday's turn? June 11th ish?

I can totally vote for the home grown idea in Oakland.

You got the setup for sure.

Ok, kids...that's all I got. Yes, I was there, but as usual there is no photographic evidence :D

I really enjoy the ambience of the Warehouse. It's easier to be social and talk to everyone there as we aren't sitting at a long table stuck talking to whoever we're sitting next to. No wonder Ben liked it there! The bartender said they're serving food on Thursdays now so maybe when softball is over we can hit `em up on a Thursday, eh?

Great seeing everyone again, and nice talking to the newbies, too! I hope y'all felt welcome!

Ok, Chris called it. We'll do the next meet-up on Tuesday June 11 - at my shop.

I'll cook - some meat and something for the vegetarians too.

As we get closer to the date, maybe chime in if you're coming - so I know how much food to prepare.

Don't worry, I can't make this one, I'll be up in washington that week. Sounds like a great one though, wish I could be there.

Wow, word travels fast. Thanks for all the well-wishes, guys - you rock!

Snapped my left clavicle in half on LITERALLY the last downhill section of two days of hard riding. My only mishap of the whole, awesome weekend. A sharp, steep, loose gravel switchback treated me to a washed-out front end and a big ole' downhill high side. 235 lbs of manliness came down hard on my left shoulder. Ouch! My gear did what it was supposed to - no other scratches. I don't know what additional gear would have helped prevent that injury - maybe some industrial-strength water wings or something? Bike was fine, of course.

Besides that, an AWESOME weekend of riding. I felt much better prepared for the dirt this time, compared to last year - thanks to riding with Tami and Eric a bunch this past year, plus the dirt sections to and from Alaska. I got to ride with Senor Peligro - which was great. Here are some photos.

With any luck, I'll be out of my brace in time for the meet-and-eat at my place... or almost, anyways. I can grill one-handed!

    Ouch!

Steve - Let us know. We don't have to do your place in June if you are still recovering. If you are indeed up for it, I am more than happy to help out on the grill or whatever is needed in preparation, as I work in Emeryville and may be able to leave work early.

I have had my share of spills - once the day is worn and you think you're there...it bites ya.
