I was planning on hosting a driveway meat and greet or 2. Maybe 1 right before and another right after. Do up a couple of briskets, beg others to bring pie, then sit around a nice yard fire.

I also shall be replacing tyres soon. I am not using Anakee IIIs again. They are not nearly as good off pavement as Anakee IIs in my view, and are not lasting as long. So much for their claim of 20% extra life.

Have to try something alse. Karoos maybe? :dunno

Maybe those big blocky things that Eddie likes. TKC80s is it?

I do like the TKC80. Only drawback it wear. I replace the rear every 3000 miles and get double that on the front.

Yup. That's been my experience as well. The rear wasn't completely gone, but I replaced it in 2010, for Tat Too, with a T-63. A very competent tire, for less money, but loud as fuck.

Looking forward to taking the Anakee IIs off-pavement, when I get my bike back. Hopefully, they'll do well in the snow. :lol3

Try to find the older Tourance model... The EXP didn't last long at all. maybe 4000 on the rear.

So apparently the tyre manufacturers all had a design review and said "so we've got these great tyres, how can we feck them up?"

It's only found in Mexican border towns and will give you a serious case of the trots?
