The Long Beach show is a hoot, lots to see and great entertainment. If the bay area show is anything like it it's worth walking through. JMHO.
I went in 2008, so it has been a while. There were lots of factory reps. In fact, that is where I first saw, sat on, and fell in love with the Aprilia Dorsoduro before it was on the market. They also had reps from racing organizations such as SupermotoUSA. They also had the usual stunt show for the masses.
yeah.. I haven't been to the LB one in several years. Prob go to this one. SWMBO wants to go and it's her birthday... dangerous combination.
+1 on LB. always a good experience and fun hanging out with the L.A. PPs. the parking lot alone is one big bike show, going inside is a bonus. the amount of exhibitors will not make me change my mind. been going for the last 4 years. lunch or dinner at the yardhouse. someone here tipped us on that one. if you want to do a test ride, show up early, 9am will get you an afternoon appointment unless you want to test ride less popular bikes. hope to see more fellow enthusiasts out there at LB.
The quality and content of the shows changes year after year, for better or worse, but what's not to like!?..............it's motorbikes right?
Been to the one in Long Beach before, it was a blast. Going to go to the one in Phoenix this year round, January 24, 25, 26. From what I hear it's going to be held at the Cardinals Stadium and there will be demo rides.
Hey if anyone missed the Long Beach Progressive Motorcycle show, you can check out a Round Up of all the Adventure Bikes found at the show. Even some interesting bikes in the parking lot! http://www.advpulse.com/adv-bikes/adventure-bikes-at-the-progressive-motorcycle-show/
