Total rubbish, I spent 3 weeks in a coma with severe brain damage, spent 2 years in rehab, yes I have changed, but I am a still me with a twist.

TBI is a crap shoot when I suffered mine in 1992 the medical field was now where near as good as they are now, the first 3 day's I was on life support and the Dr's told my wife that I will die............... they said after surviving 3 day's well he's going to be a mess you will have to feed him change his diapers for the rest of his life, thank God they where wrong so wrong, but right, each brain injury is different and the out come is just that, I am ok 21 years after it still have problems but just fine :clap

God speed to MS and screw all the yahoo's nobody deserves it

Wow! Congratulations on your recovery. That's amazing. It sounds like the Beeb's experts are saying what your doctors were saying. Perhaps you beat the odds and are a very lucky outlier? Is that possible?

I am very very lucky, I had a basial skull fracture which usually kills people, one of the worst things I remember was the vertigo for about 1 1/2 years I had to sleep in a chair because the spins where so bad :puke1 .

I wish it was a lie/false hood but it is true, completely changed my life

The latest blog update on 2/11. Not a lot of solid information specific to Michael, but the educated assumptions seem to be increasingly dark.

I am worried that it is taking way to long for good news. I fear the worst, but I am really hoping for the best!

Get well soon Michael! Lots of people are rooting for you! :clap:clap:clap

One of the neurologists interviewed said it was not uncommon for it to take a month or more for the wake-up once they start the process.

I am hoping they have him guarded, so that he look's better for the public eye, and not a walking wounded, I remember a jerk accused me of being drunk in public because I had a vertigo episode and my speech was still messed up, people sometimes suck.

It sounds like he's a long, long way from being able to walk.

I recently had that happen last summer when I got what the Dr's guessed was a really bad brain infection which screwed up my archicerebellum and nuked my motor skills. I'm better now but brain injuries whether acquired or traumatic are no joke and I really feel for people who are treated poorly by a person or society because of a medical condition they have no control of.

Props to you for bringing the fight to a shitty situation, and here is to hoping the best for Schumacher.

The investigation of the accident has concluded. The helmet mounted camera is suspected of causing his head to hit with more velocity and also weakening the helmet integrity causing the helmet to break apart.
