There is a bunch *not quite right* about that one. The starter cover is not original. As is not the shifter lever, seat ... no faring lowers .. no headlight ... no bag mounts ... The tank doesn't look like the right paint sceme ...

It looks to me like a bitza' with an RS faring. Just my opinion of course ... based on crappy pictures :lol3

agree that the pictures suck, but that's Craigslist.
    Correct about the starter cover.
    Incorrect about the shifter. It's a 77.
The linkage style shifter did not begin until mid 78.
He mentions that he has the fairing lowers.
    Dude, it's only $2600.00.
If it was a bone stock. clean, unmolested 77 RS, It would be worth a fuckuva lot more.

Here is a once and a life time deal- 1971 Honda CT 70 H model with 77 original miles.
100% original unrestored,in as good of condition as when it was sold in 1971 - not 1 scratch.
This bike has the factory rubber piece on the foot brake.
Has the factory rear luggage rack.
    4 speed manual clutch.
Bike was bought from the original family of NED LEWIS his name sticker is still on the bike.
He bought 3 in 1971 stored at the family resort in Marblemount Wa. and passed away a few years later.(Family lost interest in the bikes).
Have a Washington title in my name - Original owners manual - Sales Brochure - Original tool kit under the seat (unused).
This is the last bike of my collection (saved the best for last).

It might be a good daily rider. I'd offer two thousand tops. I agree, it is a "bitsa" bike. Wrong engine emblems for one. A good clean bone stocker can be had for around three thou. and up. I have a real nice one for sale; probably going to let it go to a friend for three. I have about seventy-five-hundred in it all together ($3,500.00 purchase price and about 4,000.00 in work and aceessories).
