Anyone doing the Blessing of the Bikes today in Laurel? I've never been and thought I might check it out. On Main St at the American Legion Post at 11:30, with all-u-can eat breakfast before for 7 bucks.

That is this week-end? Dang, other plans are in motion. I've wanted to check that out for sometime. Never been to one.

I'm considering calling my bike the antichrist. I suspect that as the blessing was given my bike would shrivel and disappear like Bella Lugosi in the sunshine.

Personally, I'd be more worried for myself than my bike.

They showed a documentary about that at Rockets to Venus once. Apparently Anthony Daniels is pretty good about exorcising bikes.

Wound up skipping the event myself. Your comment made me think how embarrassing it would be if I got sprinkled with baptism water and it burned like acid. I hate it when that happens.
